Online and onsite learning are terms which a few years ago nobody would even talk about however, these two approaches have now become a debate in everyday life. Some of the factors that distinguish both online and onsite learning are going to be explored in the essay. Typically, online learning is conducted through different technological modes whereas onsite learning is conducted on physical platforms. Some students may prefer getting real time interactions that is why they would opt for onsite education while some may not be able to attend due to problematic circumstances which is why they would opt for online education. Another contrasting factor that both learning modes have is the cost, which in online learning is lower because the providers don’t incur high expenses while onsite learning have higher costs because the providers incur high expenses. The next contrasting factor is flexibility which is high in online learning because the students can adjust their study plan as per their preference whereas the flexibility is quite rigid in onsite learning because the schedules are fixed by the providers. Furthermore, the ability to work in groups is enlightened in onsite education even though online education will accommodate students with classmates yet there wouldn’t be any dependency on each other like it is in onsite. To conclude, both online and onsite learning have their pros and cons therefore, it wouldn’t be fair to compare these one on one rather they should be compared keeping in mind the situation of the person who wants to study. According to that, the individual could come to an agreement about which mode suits their situation perfectly.
