THE SUBJECT VERB AGREEMENT
The most difficult topic to grasp for me was the subject and verb agreement. We were asked to solve worksheets which contained fill in the blanks. I found this topic challenging because English isn’t my native language and I get very confused. In my native language that is Arabic, when the subject comes after the verb, it agrees with it in both gender and number; however, when it comes before it, it agrees with it in gender, but remains singular at all times. This reason made me twisted between both languages and forget the foundations that make up both of them. I have learnt that I need to practice more subject-verb problems to master it. This topic holds high significance because without it, the reader can be confused and we don’t want to do that to the reader.

Interacting at my workplace because I get to encounter people from diverse nations who speak English as a medium of communication.
I follow English media platforms such as news, television, movies and etc.
I took an English language course that lasted for 6 months. This course helped me with the basics, grammar and spellings.
I use synonyms and check definitions for easier words and turn them into proper vocabulary. This helps me increase my usage of different words in essays and reports.
In conclusion, I would like to confess that I consider myself still learning the language. I aspire to speak the language fluently however I know that this will take a lot of time, hard work, dedication and patience which I am willing to deliver.
